Food on the ship is free if you want to go back onboard for lunch. If you choose to eat somewhere besides the ship, you would have to pay. We always have dinner on board after returning from port. Disney cruises are one of the best :) That is the same cruise I went on. They still provide the meals for you on the ship, however if you would like to get food on the island you have to pay for that. At Castaway Cay they had a buffett outside and tables set up so you can eat. While at the islands, you can either stick with your regular eating schedual and go at what time it says on your ticket, or there are also other restaurants/ buffets that you can eat at any time that you would like.
