Can anyone tell me how to find out information about booking a last minute cruise out of tampa, fl. Someone told me that if you are a florida resident you can book last minute at drastically discounted prices because they just want to fill the ship.

Well, sign up with vacationstogo.com and visit the 90 day ticker to see whats there.

Or you can go directly to the Tampa page and see the deals.

Hope I helped!

Where can I get the cheapest deals for Oasis of the Seas or Norwegian Epic (cruise ship)?

Most ships need at least 48 hours for any last minute deals. So this is because homeland security needs a list of all passengers for each and every cruise before it sails. Last minute are not usually the cheapest as people who book well in advance get the best deals. But call the cruise company right away and see what they have. Also vacationstogo have what they call a 90 day ticker. These are all last minute cruise deals. You may want to look there first. They are a good company. Oh, btw, it doesn’t matter if you live in Florida or not. Anyone can get these deals if they are ready to go.

I’ve been told that cruise ships don’t work like that, the prices go up at the last minute and that’s when you’ll get the worst cabins

it’s best to book early the earliest possible

What you’ve heard is correct. Yes, you can get good last-minute deals, though "last-minute" generally refers to 3 to 6 weeks prior to sailing.

Here’s a page of specials for sailings departing from Tampa with the closest-in sailings on top:

http://www.CruiseCompete.com for the same ship and sail date. Agents will be able to see that you’re a Florida resident and can look for resident specials on the particular ship.
