I’m trying to take a cruise in march of next year and i’m trying to get tickets ahead of time so they’re a little cheaper. I recommend checking with your local travel agent as they will often have groups going on a certain cruise and can add you to their low fare! (you dont have to be part of the group to participate in the fare) – they also have access to lots of specials, discounts and can combine flight, cruise, transfers, insurance and even a hotel the night before you leave – they can help you book shore excursions before you leave so you’re sure the ones you want are not sold out!

I always find great prices with Royal Caribbean and Carnival, though now and then you’ll find a great price on Norwegian too – price will often depend on cruise line, what sort of cabin you get and how early you book, so now is certainly not too early to check into all of it

In searching a bit I found better prices on Royal Caribbean than on others for the Bahama’s – for example: flight for 2 from Minneapolis to Port Canaveral FL, transfers to ship and 4 night cruise with interior cabin & insurance was running $1124.54 per person – you might find a better rate using a travel agent
