Personally I think Carnival is the worst overall (poor service on-board, horrible food, dirty ships, unacceptable lack of customer service, etc.)

The best overall would be Radisson Seven Seas (personable service, excellent food, immaculate accommodations, spectacular ports of call)

In most cases, not all, a cruise can be summed up by the pricing. The better the food, the entertainment, the accommodations, etc., the higher the prices.

Best cruise lines for familys?

What is best and worst from your perspective might be the opposite for me. Each is a bit different, and some are very different, and you should travel with the one that most closely matches your desires and meets your expectations. There is a broad spectrum, so do your research before booking anything. Price is not always the best indication.

Each individual ship is listed on cruisecritic.com, There they have reviews by people that have sailed on that ship.

5 cruises with three different cruise lines

Alex this is the same as asking Chevy or Ford. I have sailed with 3 different cruise lines on 25 cruises. Each offers alittle something different. Each person looks for different things like ports of call, lenght, destinations, price. If you take alittle time and match your needs to what each line has to offer you will find the right deal for you. You will find some who will never sail with one line again yet they are cruising so they must please some. It really comes down to personal choice. On 25 cruises I do not have a single complaint besides what most cruisers say "I wish it was longer".
